Philip T. Rittall

Philip T. Rittall, 62, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2019 at his home.

Born March 31, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of the late Richard and Nancy (Heffernan) Rittall.  Philip was a 1975 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School and he served in the United States Army Reserves.  He was a retired forklift operator, having worked for J. C. Penny for 34 years and was a member of the West Carlisle Community Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing and whitewater rafting.

Surviving is his loving wife, Elizabeth A. Rittall whom he married September 25, 1999; one step-son, Matthew (Heidi) Dove of Blacklick, Ohio; two step-daughters, Cheryl (James) Lee of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Darcy (Joseph) Brelsford of Wilmington, Ohio; five step-grandchildren, Isabel, Teddy, Charlie, Hope and Lily.  Also surviving is one sister, Lisa (Dan) Hyland of Marietta, Georgia.

There will be no calling hours.

A celebration of Philip’s life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the West Carlisle Community Church with Pastor Ron Shearn officiating.  The church is located at 18536 County Road 3, Warsaw, Ohio 43844. (West Carlisle).  Following the celebration, a time of food and fellowship will be shared at the Rittall family home.  All are welcome.
