Phyllis D. Carpenter
COSHOCTON – Phyllis D. Carpenter, 87, of Coshocton passed away at her home on Monday October 10, 2016.
Phyllis was born in Scio, Ohio on October 19, 1928 to the late Dewey and Nannie (Addleman) Davis.
She was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Paula K. Carpenter of Coshocton; two sons Steven P. Carpenter of Altoona, PA and John D. Carpenter of Coshocton; two sisters Jeanne Newton of AZ and Wilda D. Rice of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Carpenter whom passed away on May 29, 2009; a daughter Brenda L. Carpenter whom passed away on August 24, 1992; a brother Jerry Leggett; two sisters Velma Smalley and June Baker.
A graveside funeral service will be held in Prairie Chapel Cemetery on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.
