Piano benefit concert planned

| June 1, 2015

COSHOCTON – All are invited to attend the piano benefit to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Grace United Methodist Church, Fourth and Walnut streets. One college student and four graduating high school seniors, piano students of Rev. Jan Coffman, will play organ and piano music for your enjoyment. There is no charge. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will be given to the Coshocton Elementary School to buy keyboards for the piano lab.

Those students contributing musical selections are: Lydia Abernathy, Patrick Brouse, Georgia Brown, Conner Drennen and Jacqueline Roman. Among these students are those who have attended International Piano Playing Guild auditions at Denison University and consistently received superior ratings.  Many of them have played in or won the Montgomery Piano Competition at the junior or senior division or both.
