Rachael D. Honabarger
COSHOCTON- Rachael Dawn (Hardesty) Honabarger, 35, of CR 23, died Thursday May 2, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus as the result of injuries sustained in an accident at home.
She was born Dec. 29, 1977 in Coshocton to William A. “Bill” and Kim L. (Carnes) Hardesty. She was a 1996 graduate of River View High School, and a dedicated wife and mother. She loved spending as much time as she could relaxing at home with her family, although it never seemed to be enough. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, and taking her kids fishing. She was a true “homebody”, who could never wait to get through the door and into her “comfy” clothes.
She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Honabarger of Coshocton, whom she married April 20, 2012. Also surviving is her daughter, Kassidee Dawn McVay, and her son, Ayden Jett Robison, both of the home, her parents, Bill & Cheryl Hardesty of Coshocton, and Kim & Jay Parks of Conesville, two grandmothers; Kay Carnes of Tyndall, and Vera Hardesty of Coshocton, two brothers; Bill Hardesty of Fresno, and Michael Hardesty of Coshocton, a step-sister, Jody (Rob) Carpenter of New Concord, a step-brother, Jason (Rebel) Medley of Seattle, WA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, her best-friend, Roxanne Wisenberg of Keene, and her trusted feline companion, “Fathead”.
She is preceded in death by two grandfathers; Kenny Carnes and Delbert Hardesty.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 9, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Dairel Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made towards her children’s education at a trust fund established at Chase Bank for Kassidee McVay & Ayden Robison.
