Richard D. “Brownie” Brown

Richard BrownRichard D. “Brownie” Brown, 81, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room on Tuesday December 17, 2013.  Richard was born to the late Adam R. and Beatrice M. (Steffee) Brown in Chili on January 8, 1932.  He graduated from Fresno High School, served in the US Air Force, retired from AK Steel after thirty years of service and was a member of the V.F.W..  Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, tinkering with John Deere Tractors and listening to Polka Music.  He is survived by his wife of forty years Carol E. (McClain) Brown; children Brenda (Bob) Kiser of Coshocton, Karen Miller and Rocky (Kaye) Brown both of West Lafayette; step children Carol L. Bosson of Warsaw, Lori L. (Jerry) Tippie of Dresden and Jerry T. Fuller of Warsaw; eight grandchildren Kyle (Julie) Kiser, Jeremy Brown, Zachary Miller, Jeff Bosson, Donnie Fuller, Heather Fuller, Alyssa Fuller and Tim Fuller; seven great grandchildren; a sister Betty (Marion) Marhofer of Baltic; several cousins and other family members.  Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday December 19, 2013 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday.  Funeral services for Richard will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating.  Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Burkhardt Cemetery, Crawford Township.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
