Richard L. “Rick” Starcher

Rick Starcher PictureRichard L. “Rick” Starcher passed away after a brief illness on Thursday December 5, 2013.  Rick was born in Coshocton on December 24, 1955 to the late Robert and Eloise (Cheney) Starcher.  He graduated from River View High School.  In his earlier years, he had worked for St. Regis Paper Mill and Clow Water Systems.  Rick was currently working for American Electric Power Conesville Plant.  He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church on Walnut St. in Coshocton and the Coshocton Eagles.  Rick loved watching the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers.  He loved working on projects around his home and fishing with his family.  Rick also enjoyed listening to music, fellowship time with his family, friends and his church family.  Rick also loved spending time on family vacations to warm locations, beaches and oceans.  Rick is survived by his devoted wife Carole (Kessinger) Starcher who he married September 11, 2001; loving children Jason (Tara) Starcher of West Lafayette, Joe (Jess) Starcher of Hawaii, Deseree Pippins of Massillon and Brice Starcher of the home; two sisters Ethel (Harry) Hawkins of Warsaw and Donna (Cliff) Denning of Massillon; six grandchildren Mackenzie, Sydney, Crosby, Caine, Alex and Riley Starcher; several nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Bobby Starcher.  Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday December 10, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Funeral services for Rick will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roger McCreery officiating.  Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery and everyone is invited back to the Conesville Fire Department after the graveside services for a time of food and fellowship in memory of Rick.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfunerahome.com .
