River View tops Meadowbrook

WARSAW – River View won its contest against Meadowbrook on April 30, 4-2 on senior night.

The Lady Bears got things started in the first inning with a triple off the bat of Lauren Krystek. She then stole home after a walk was issued to Gracie Dunlap.

River View pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kelsie Williamson doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs and Claire Warschauer singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Thomas was the winning pitcher for River View. She lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out eight and walking one.

Mikensi Ehlinger went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead River View in hits.
