Robert ‘Bob’ Lower

Robert Lower PictureRobert “Bob” Lower, 82, of West Lafayette passed away Wednesday October 21, 2015 at The Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

USFlagSunlightHC1311_X_300_C_YHe was born in Columbus on September 17, 1933 to the late Harold E. and Mary (Burrell) Lower.

Bob graduated from Plainfield High School and The Ohio State University before joining the United States Army. After the Army he worked at Kraft Foods, Dixon Health Department and the Coshocton Health Department.

He was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Temple, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, a Shriner, and a Volunteer at Roscoe Village.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lower, whom he married March 24, 1956; son Kevin (Laurie) Lower of Elkhart, IN; daughter Kim (John) Hoerger of Minerva, OH; grandchildren Matt and Sam Lower; and sister Betty (Richard) Stockum of Wadsworth, OH.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday October 24, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 with Rev. William E. Buckeye and Pastor Don Dolick officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors.

Contributions may be directed towards the West Lafayette United Methodist Church and Coshocton County Health Services “Hospice,” envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
