Robert Junior ‘Bob’ Howard

Robert Junior “Bob” Howard, 98, of Coshocton, passed away at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton on Thursday September 2, 2021.

Bob was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio on December 2, 1922 to the late Walter and Georgia (Whiteus) Howard.  He graduated from high school in Coshocton County, the class of 1940 and served in the United States Army from 1943-1946.

Throughout his life, he was an equipment operator for Apache Aggregate and Cousin’s Excavating.  Bob was a member of the Coshocton Sportsman Club, and was known as the watchdog of his community. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and canning.

He is survived by his nephew Harold Robert (Amy) Ulrich of Conesville; special care giver Mary Dobson of Coshocton; several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. (LeCraft) Howard; step-father Franklin Ulrich; five brothers and eight sisters.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday September 9, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services for Bob will begin at 12:00 PM Noon with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens where Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.
