Robert Thomas AndrewsCOSHOCTON – Robert T. Andrews, age 65, of Coshocton, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017.

Robert was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 21, 1951 to the late Robert Frederick and Lois Jean (Reed) Andrews. Robert obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a major in English and a minor in Political Science. He worked for 18 years in multiple financial institutions, beginning with City Loan and Savings, working his way up to the position of Bank Manager. He also worked at JII with the boiler operator, in maintenance, and in security. He retired from AGM Vanadium, where he worked in the maintenance department. On August 8, 1981, he married Patricia Murray, who survives. Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 994, in the 3rd and 4th degrees, and he was the financial secretary for USW Union 5050. Robert enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University.

Along with his wife, Robert is survived by his two sons, Robert F. and Brian P. Andrews, one granddaughter, Carrie N. Andrews, one brother, Thomas E. Andrews, many nieces and nephews, two sister-in-law’s: Dorothy (Richard ) Luzier and Julie Murray; and three brother-in-law’s: Art (Lee) Murray, Mike Murray, and Daniel (Janine) Murray.

Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two brother-in-law’s: Roger and James Murray.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, July, 28 2017 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Blubaugh officiating. On Monday, calling hours will be held from 10-11 a.m. at Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home, 18149 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, with burial to follow at Cavalry Cemetery in Cleveland, OH.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Knights of Columbus, Council 994, 805 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812, or to the Sacred Heart Church (or School), 805 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812.
