Roger Maple Paper PictureRoger W. Maple, 83, of Coshocton passed away at Autumn Extended Care on Sunday May 11, 2014.

Roger was born in Plainfield on June 9, 1930 to the late Harry and Lucy (Parks) Maple.

He had worked as a coal miner and at Cabot Lumber. Roger loved spending time outdoors, doing yard work and mowing grass.

He is survived by his daughter Mary (Mike) Garbrandt of Newcomerstown; his long time companion Goldie Heck of Coshocton; step sons Harold (Kathy) Heck of West Lafayette; Jimmy Heck and George Heck both of Coshocton; sister in law Geraldine Maple of Coshocton; several grandchildren, step grandchildren; great grandchildren, step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his five brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
