Ronald Earl Lewis

Ronald Earl Lewis, 84, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. He was born on Oct. 2, 1937 in Canton to the late Benjamin and Grace Elizabeth (Green) Lewis.

Ronald graduated from Coshocton High School in 1956, and then served in the United States Navy. He retired from the Coshocton City Fire Department after many years of service. Ronald was a member of St. John’s Church, and the Moose Lodge. He worked for his dad’s garage as a painter, and enjoyed working in his garden and planting flowers.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Linda (Knoff) Lewis, and their children Raymond (Melissa) Lewis of Arkansas, Russell (Ricky) Lewis of Columbus, Ronda (Kevin) Barnes of Warsaw, and Tammy Pepping of Plainfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Ronald is also survived by his siblings Ben (Betty) Lewis, Danny Lewis, Jan (Chris) Arnold, and Jane (Mike) English. Ronald is also leaving behind his dogs Maggie and Bandit, and his cat Socks.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ronnie Eddie, and his brother Dale Lewis.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow on at 3:00 officiated by Pastor Brian Kittner. Burial will take place at a later date at South Lawn Cemetery.
