Ronald R. Markley

Ronald Richard Markley, 79, Coshocton passed away at 10:55 A.M., Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

Born October 24, 1932 near Newcomerstown in TuscarawasCounty, he was the son of the late Clovis and Margaret (Opphile) Markley.

 Ronald had been a 35 year employee of Buckeye Fabric until retiring in 1992.

 On November 10, 1953, he married Barbara Jean Kohl who preceded him in death on July 21, 1993.

Ronald was a longtime member of the Coshocton Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #935.

Surviving are a son Larry (Betty) Markley; two grandchildren Melissa (Danny) George II, Richard (Kim) Markley all of Coshocton; eight great-grandchildren; sister Violet Krasky of Coshocton; several nieces, nephews and a special friend Eleanor Kirker of Coshocton.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ronald was preceded in death by a brother Floyd Markley.

To honor Ronald’s  request, there are no services and his cremains will be buried on the Markley lot at South Lawn Cemetery.
