Roscoe’s Garden Elves

| May 2, 2013

The Roscoe Village Landscape Department is starting up their volunteer program again, and is looking for anyone wanting to learn the basics of gardening along with some gardening tips.  Volunteers will help with dead heading, watering, weeding, and pruning of perennials and shrubs in Roscoe Village.  Connie Miller will be meeting with these Garden Elves in the Memorial Garden on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of May, June, July, and August from 9 – 11 a.m.  If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, call 622-7644 ext. 10 and leave a message.  Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves; tools and kneeling pads will be available if you don’t have your own.
