Shale and You is a workshop for landowners and communities
CAMBRIDGE – Ohio State University Extension is hosting, Shale and You: A Workshop for Landowners and Communities, from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center, 7033 Glenn Highway in Cambridge.
The workshop will include a wide variety of presentations by OSU educators and specialists as well as informational booths to ask specific questions one on one. Topics include development updates, community and strategic planning, taxes, pipeline easements and a panel of landowners who have dealt with shale development directly.
The goal of the afternoon is to provide relevant information to assist landowners and community leaders with decision making.
Registration is $10 and must be received by Monday, Nov. 5, by the Guernsey County Extension office in Old Washington. Visit shalegas.osu.edu for registration form and more information.
