Sharon G. Langdon

NASHPORT- Sharon G. Langdon, 60, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at The James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University in Columbus.

Sharon was born April 12, 1958 in Coshocton to the late Hubert and Joy (Garrison) Langdon. She was a 1976 graduate of River View High School, and a 1980 graduate of the former Coshocton Business College. She was an employee of Aetna Insurance, and a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ in Zanesville.

Sharon was an avid “Star Trek” and “Star Wars” fan. She will always be remembered for her love, loyalty, and bull headedness. In death, she gave the gift of sight to two individuals through eye and tissue donation.

She is survived by three sisters, Betty (Ed) Fox, Evalyn (Robert) Shroyer, and Sandy (Dana) Cheney, all of Coshocton; four nephews, Travis & Nathan Cheney, James (Kim) Shroyer and his son Christopher, and Michael, his daughter Nicole and her two sons; two nieces, Angela (Brett) Duhamell and her children Josh, Kelsi, and Cassidy, and Tammy (Peter Worth) and her children Patrick Shroyer, Jeannie Shroyer (Mike Lindemuth) and their son Alex; her canine companions “Mac” & Emmy”; a feline friend “Gray-Gray”; and numerous friends and cousins,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Greg Fox.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with William Meaige officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 11th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
