Sheriff’s office conducts marijuana sweep

COSHOCTON – On Aug. 20, deputies from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, along with BCI agents and an OSP helicopter, conducted a sweep of our county for marijuana grows. The helicopter located 1,314 marijuana plants from multiple locations during this eradication. Charges may be considered for several local individuals once the case has been reviewed by the Coshocton County prosecutor. Charges may range from possession of marijuana to possibly cultivation of marijuana.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
