On April 7 the Sheriff’s Office investigated four accident(s) and 11 complaint(s).

Accidents

– Brian McNabney of Plainfield, Ind. rear-ended Robert Lewis of Newton Falls at the intersection of US 36 and SR 93.

– The sheriff’s office received a report of a van that had crashed over the embankment on Linton TR 118.

– The sheriff’s office received a report of a non-injury accident at the intersection of Third Street and Chestnut Street.

– The sheriff’s office received a report of a non-injury accident at the intersection of Walnut Street and 15th Street.

Complaints

– Newcomerstown Police advised they received a report of a rape that actually occurred in Coshocton County.

– John Shutt of Coshocton was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after given several opportunities to turn his music down and refusing to do so.

– The manager of the Coshocton Circle-K reported illegal dumping.

– A Lafayette Township woman reported a domestic situation.

– A Warsaw woman reported a domestic situation.

– Robin Ackert of Coshocton was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing.

– A Coshocton man reported finding a 4-year-old child. The child was returned to his mother. Children’s services will follow up.

– Craig Boise of West Lafayette was arrested and charged with fourth degree felony domestic violence.

– The sheriff’s office litter prevention deputy handled illegal dump sites at the following locations: CR 106 in Linton Township, CR 106 in Linton Township and 1171 Commons Drive in Coshocton.
