Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for August 16
On August 15 the Sheriff’s Office investigated one accident and three complaints.
– SHERIFFS OFFICE RECEIVED A 911 CALL IN REFERENCE TO A MALE SUBJECT THAT HAD FALLEN FROM AN OIL RIG ON COSHOCTON CO RD 5. UPON ARRIVAL IT WAS FOUND 27YO JOHN E ROBERTS OF CALDWELL OHIO WAS ON A PLATFORM APPROX 50′ HIGH WHEN HE SLIPPED AND FELL. JOHN SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURIES FROM THE FALL AND WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE BY THE COSHOCTON COUNTY CORNER DR. ROBERT GWINN. ASSISTING AT THE SCENE WAS COSHOCTON COUNTY EMS AND THE WEST LAFAYETTE FIRE DEPT. THIS INCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE COSHOCTON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE.
– WHILE ON PATROL AN ILLEGAL DUMPSITE WAS FOUND AT THE INTERSECTION OF TR 28 AND TR 26.
– KENNETH CUNNINGHAM OF WARSAW REPORTED THEFT OF ITEMS DELIVERED TO HIS RESIDENCE BY THE USPS.
