Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for February 25, 2014

On February 24 the Sheriff’s Office investigated two accidents and six complaints.

Accidents

– BRYAN RENKER OF WARSAW WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON SR60 WHEN HE STRUCK A DEER.

– JONATHAN COFFMAN OF GREENCASTLE PA WAS TRAVELING WEST ON CHESTNUT STREET WHEN HE LOST HIS FRONT DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WENT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY STRIKING A MAIL BOX AND A CITY PARKING SIGN.

Complaints

– NELSON STUTZMAN OF FRESNO REPORTED THE THEFT OF HIS 2003 CHEVY 4X4 Z71 TRUCK.

– OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO AN ADDRESS ON CRAWFORD TWP RD 86 IN REFERENCE TO A SUBJECT THREATENING SUICIDE. A MALE SUBJECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO GRANT HOSPITAL BY MEDFLIGHT AND THE INCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER LOCATED AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TWP RD 26 AND CR24.

– MARGARET JONES OF COHOCTON REPORTED HER DAUGHTER BETH JONES HAD HER IDENTITY STOLEN.

– MICHAEL ALLMAN OF COSHOCTON REPORTED HIS VEHICLE VANDALIZED WHILE AT THE MOOSE LODGE.

– CRUE FREEMAN OF COSHOCTON REPORTED HIS DEBIT CARD STOLEN.
