Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for January 24, 2020

On January 23, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 2 (s) and 5 complaint(s).

Accidents:

6:42 A.M.  Jerry Watson was driving eastbound on Adams Street when he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a parked vehicle at 1989 Adams Street, owned by Kelsey Maple.

 

8:51 A.M.  Samuel Scott failed to yield pulling out of Chase Bank parking lot when he struck a vehicle being driven by John McFarland.

 

1:46 P.M.  Bernard Jackson of Cleveland was traveling westbound on County Road 16 near Schumaker Farms when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the right side if the roadway striking a guardrail.  He then continued westbound on County Road 16, crossing the centerline and went off the left side of the roadway, striking a gas meter and fence.  The vehicle came to rest in a pasture field.

 

Complaints:

10:37 A.M.  An illegal dump was located on Township Road 350.

 

12:38 P.M.  Crystal Smucker reported finding unknown white substance in a clear bottle at an ex tenants house.

 

1:11 P.M.  James McKeever reported someone broke into his storage unit located on an alley off of Bridge Street.

 

3:28 P.M.  Erin Shaw reported a necklace stolen.
