On January 24, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 6 (s) and 9 complaint(s).
Accidents:
8:43 A.M. Wesley Morris was traveling east bound on US 36 east of SR 751 in Oxford Twp when he lost control of his vehicle going off the left side roadway striking an embankment.
9:01 A.M. On January 24, 2020 a vehicle driven by Amber Harrah was traveling east on Pine Street when it collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Pine Street and South Seventh Street driven Rauch.
9:46 A.M. On January 24th I was dispatched to the 600 block of Cambridge Road in reference to an accident. Once on the scene I determined that Mary Harmon was driving her 2008 Ford Taurus and had stopped in Cambridge Road to deliver newspaper. Another vehicle, a 2009 Honda Civic being driven by Jeffrey Meek which was also traveling southbound on Cambridge behind the Harmon vehicle. The Harmon vehicle had its four way lights on and he started to go around her. The Harmon vehicle didn’t see the Meek vehicle and she started to turn left and stuck the Meek vehicle on the passenger side.
10:07 A.M. On January 24, 2020 I was dispatched to the corner of South 15th Street and Adams Street in reference to an accident. A 2016 Ford Explorer being driven by Amber Vance was traveling westbound on Adams Street. She failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2015 Chevy Colorado being driven by Dana Guilliams which was traveling northbound on South 15th Street.
11:47 A.M. On January 24, 2020 I was dispatched to 440 Browns Lane in reference to a accident. It was determined that a Golden Burchfield was driving her 2015 Honda Pilot in the parking lot and struck a light pole.
3:35 P.M. On January 24, 2020 a non-injury three car accident was reported in the area of SR 16, in the area of AK Steel.
Complaints:
1:44 A.M. On January 24, 2020 conducted a traffic stop where I located suspected drugs.
1:23 P.M. On January 24, 2020 Jodi Cole advised her daughter Alexandria Gertz assaulted.
2:18 P.M. On January 24th I was dispatched to 601 Vine Street in reference to a domestic disturbance.
2:26 P.M. Larry Cochran of Walhonding reported a theft from his residence within the last week.
3:31 P.M. On January 24, 2020 Robert Shaffer reported threats.
4:38 P.M. On January 24, 2020 Brandon Cummings and Quintavius Davis were arrested on warrants.
6:49 P.M. On January 24, 2020 Kimberly Matthews reported someone cut the tire on her truck.
7:29 P.M. On January 24 Austin Pulley called to report being assaulted and was escorted from a residence on SR 751 after damaging a door.
7:52 P.M. On January 24, Shannon Williams reported that $800 dollars was stolen.
