Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for March 12, 2014

On March 11 the Sheriff’s Office investigated two accidents and four complaints.

Accidents

– RUSSELL YOUNG JR OF COSHOCTON WAS BACKING FROM A DRIVEWAY IN THE 400 BLOCK OF LOCUST STREET WHEN HE STRUCK A PARKED VEHICLE OWNED BY WAYNE LAUVARY OF COSHOCTON.

– DEPUTIES OBSERVED AN ATV DRIVING RECKLESSLY ON BANK ST AT S.7TH. THE ATV THEN TOOK OFF AND WRECKED ON S. 7TH AT ALDER. RICHARD MIDDAUGHT WAS EJECTED FROM THE ATV AND TRANSPORTED TO CCMH. THE DRIVER, TROY CARROLL, WAS PARTIALLY EJECTED AND WAS FLOWN TO AKRON GENERAL HOSPITAL. SPEED AND ALCOHOL ARE BELIEVED TO BE A FACTOR IN THIS ACCIDENT.

Complaints

– DANIEL PERDUE OF DRESDEN REPORTED A DOMESTIC SITUATION. TARA RUFFO OF DRESDEN WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED MENACING.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER LOCATED AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TWP RD 178 IN WHITE EYES TOWNSHIP.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER LOCATED AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TWP RD 225 IN CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP.

– JAMES HOLDSWORTH OF COSHOCTON REPORTED HIS GARAGE BROKEN INTO AND SEVERAL ITEMS TAKEN.
