Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for November 20

On November 19 the Sheriff’s Office investigated four accidents and five complaints.

Accidents

– JONATHAN BARNETT OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING NORTH BOUND ON SR83 WHEN A DEER RAN INTO THE PATH OF HIS VEHICLE .

– SARAH ST CLAIR OF COSHOCTON WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN INTO THE PARKING LOT OF 415 SOUTH 2ND STREET AND STRUCK A PARKED VEHICLE REGISTERED TO JENNIFER RANKIN OF NEWCOMERSTOWN.

– BETH MORRIS OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON OTSEGO AVE WHEN A DEER RAN INTO THE PATH OF HER VEHICLE.

– ALEXIA STAFFORD OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING NORTH BOUND ON SOUTH 2ND STREET AND STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION OF 2ND AND CHESTNUT WHEN SHE WAS REAR ENDED BY DANIELLE FISHER OF DOVER. DANIELLE FISHER THEN BACKED UP AND WHILE LEAVING THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT STRUCK THE STAFFORD VEHICLE A SECOND TIME. DANIELLE FISHER LEFT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT AND LATER WRECKED HER VEHICLE ON SR 83. DANIELLE FISHER WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH OVI, OVI REFUSAL, UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION, LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT AND ASSURED CLEAR DISTANCE.

Complaints

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER FOUND TRASH DUMPED ILLEGALLY IN THE DUMPSTER AT THE STARBRITE CARWASH.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER FOUND AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TOWNSHIP ROAD 158.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER FOUND AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON CR271.

– JOSEPH TODD WHEELER JR OF COSHOCTON REPORTED BEING REAR ENDED AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH 6TH STREET AND VINE STREET BY A VEHICLE THAT LEFT THE SCENE.

– DURING A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP OFFICERS DISCOVERED THAT THE OCCUPENT OF THE VEHICLE HAD A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST. BRANDON RAY OF COSHOCTON WAS INSTRUCTED TO STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE DUE TO HIS WARRANT AND FLED ON FOOT. OFFICERS APPREHENDED BRANDON RAY WHO WAS ARRESTED ON HIS OUTSTANDING WARRANT AND CHARGED WITH OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.
