Space Camp meeting coming up

COSHOCTON – All present third through fifth and sixth through seventh graders that are interested in participating at Space Camp in Huntsville, Ala., are invited to attend an informational meeting on Monday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m. The session will be held at Roscoe United Methodist Church (475 High St. near Roscoe Village) in the fellowship hall. Teacher Shannon Shontz and head chaperone Les Widder, will be accompanying the group.  Parents of interested students are also invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.

To get a sneak preview of Space Camp, visit Students in the past have been from Coshocton, Sacred Heart, Ridgewood, River View, Coshocton Christian and several homeschoolers.  Serious participants should be prepared to make a $75 down payment. There will also be an application form that will need filled out by the potential camper, parent, teacher and principal. The first 20 qualified applicants will be invited to join the group. Checks should be made out to: Friends of Coshocton County Space Camp. Camp will be held on Oct. 11-16.
