NEWARK – The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology has extended registration for this Saturday’s STEM at the Farm, a free professional development workshop for teachers of grades three through seven.

Teachers will receive curriculum materials, contact hours, and are eligible for stipends. STEM at the Farm will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Devine Farms Outdoor Learning Classroom, 672 National Road (Route 40), Hebron, Ohio, 43025.

Projects and Partnerships (EPP) LLC will facilitate this workshop. Thanks to a grant from the Ohio Soybean Council, this workshop is free to educators. This daylong workshop will provide grade-level curricula that teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts by providing opportunities to question and observe, plan an investigation, use tools and science equipment, communicate, and share with others.

To register, e-mail to [email protected] or call 740-349-9277. Spaces are limited. To learn about other teacher professional development opportunities, visit
