Susan Kay Waddle, 63, of Coshocton, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 26, 1959, in Zanesville to Burney and Kathryn (Collins) Cowden.

Susan graduated from Coshocton High School class of 1977. She was dedicated to her job in medical records at Coshocton Memorial Hospital and most recently at Union Hospital in New Philadelphia. Susan was known by all who knew her as a kind, sweet, loving person that would help anyone in need. She was even more of a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother “Mimi”. Her family was always her top priority and she absolutely adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outside mowing her yard, tending to her flowers, riding bikes, or just sitting on her swing enjoying the breeze and sunshine. She took meticulous care of her flower garden, enjoyed cooking, and always looked forward to going places. Her kind heart was noticed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jeff Waddle; daughter, Mollie (Brian) Hahn; grandchildren, Maxon and Mabrie; her father, Burney Cowden; brother, Bruce Cowden; sisters-in-law, Paula Waddle, and Debbie (Denny) Kriescher; nieces, Kayla Cowden and Kelly (Josh) Clouse; and nephew, Justin Crosson; and great niece and nephew, Griffin and Grace Clouse.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Cowden; grandson, Barrett Carter Hahn; and brother-in-law, Tom Waddle.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Susan to the March of Dimes in honor of her late grandson.
