Thomas Allen Miller

Thomas Allen Miller, 74, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. He was born in Coshocton on Sept. 2, 1947, to the late Kenneth R. and Ila (Casey) Miller.

Thomas honorably served in the United States army from 1966 – 1972, and worked as an instrument control tech at AEP where he retired. Thomas married Patricia (Markley) Miller on Sept. 28, 1972 who survives. He was a former member of Keene United Methodist Church, and enjoyed flying airplanes, building and carpentry, and spending time with his family. Thomas volunteered to help construct the Hope Clinic on Sixth Street after his retirement.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia (Markley) Miller; his two children, Heather (Ty) Stewart and Seth Miller; and six grandchildren, Sydney Stewart, Dannan Stewart, Avery Stewart, Emery Stewart, Cole Miller, and Cody Miller.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth “Dick” Miller; nephew, Chris Miller; mother-in-law, Wanda Markley Leppla; father-in-law, Dave Leppla; and brother-in-law, Andy Markley.

Per Thomas’ wishes, a cremation will take place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Thomas’ name to the Natural Resource Program, or the Construction Trade Program at the Coshocton County Career Center, 23640 Airport Road, Coshocton, Ohio 43812, or to Community Hospice, 230 S 4th St, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.

The family of Mr. Miller would like to offer many thanks to the staff of Altercare of Coshocton for taking such good care of Mr. Miller, and for providing support to the family.
