NASHPORT – Thomas E. Manning, age 73, of Nashport, Ohio, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Doan Hall OSU, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born November 7, 1944 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late William B. and Eileen (Henderson) Manning.

He was a graduate of Coshocton High School and was retired from Owens Corning of Newark, Ohio.  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars in his younger years.

He was married to Marilyn (Brunney) who preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, William (Jeannie) Manning of Glenwood, Iowa; one daughter, Kimberly (Manning) Wittman of New Lexington, Ohio; two sisters, Patricia (Ed) Jerles of Newark, Ohio and Sharon Schlosser of West Lafayette, Ohio; two sister in laws, Dorothy Manning and Vicki Manning both of Coshocton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Crystal Wittman, Amanda Manning, Christopher Holman, Katelyn Holman, Megan Manning, Thomas Wittman, Austin Wittman, Sean Wittman and Dayton Manning.

In addition, to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Manning and John Manning; one sister, Joyce Appis; step father, Esley “Fuzz” Denny.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Free Funeral Home Coshocton, Ohio with Rev. Ed Ramey officiating, burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.  Calling hours will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
