Two charged after John Street drug raid

COSHOCTON – On Dec. 6, at approximately 11:06 a.m, detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 600 block of John St. in the City of Coshocton.

As a result of this search warrant, drugs, drug related items, firearms and cash were seized and two adults were taken into custody and await the filing of formal charges.

On Dec. 7, Wesley C. Reichman, 22-years-old and from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree and Chasity M. Wright, 27 years old and from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with having weapons under disability, a felony of the third degree. Additional charges are anticipated after review by the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Assisting the detectives were members of the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT), The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and The Coshocton City Water Department who assisted in locating vital evidence after the residence was secured.

This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
