United Way of Coshocton to hold recognition breakfast

| March 13, 2019

COSHOCTON – The United Way of Coshocton will hold its annual recognition breakfast on Thursday, March 21 at 6:45 a.m. at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites.

This is an annual meeting that enables the United Way and its partner agencies to thank those who contributed to the most recent campaign. Currently the goal is $325,000 and so far the United Way has received over $317,000 in pledges or 97 percent of its goal.

Industries, schools, retail and small business owners, professionals, farmers, and retirees all contribute to help support local non-profits in town where 100 percent of every dollar given stays in Coshocton.

“This gathering is my favorite of the year’s events because it is our time to publicly thank those who spent so much time making the ask of their fellow employees or contributing themselves to the betterment of Coshocton”, said Lyn Mizer, director. “When you hear the agencies stand up and recall a story of how their specific program has touched the life of one our neighbors, it drives home the point of why we work so hard to raise these monies. Together we truly are stronger.”

Tickets are still available by calling the United Way office at 740-622-4567. Breakfast will be catered by Shumaker Farms and is the price is $10 per person.
