Warren W. Baker

Warren W. Baker, 89, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, 2020 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born April 26, 1930 in Frazeysburg he was the son of the late Walter J. and Ruth M. (Gardner) Baker and was a 1948 graduate of Frazeysburg High School.  Warren was a retired self-employed long-haul trucker.  He enjoyed spending each morning at the Dresden McDonald’s as a member of the “Coffee Club.”

Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Janet (Shaw) Baker whom he married Feb. 5, 1961; a sister in-law, Lola Haines of Dresden, Ohio; a brother in-law, George (Connie) Shaw of Urbana, Ohio; ten nieces and nephews and several cousins. Also surviving are many friends, including many Amish friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother in-law and sister in-law, Francis and Lois Shaw and several cousins.

As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
