Irene Florence Loveless Troendly

WEST LAFAYETTE – Irene Florence Loveless Troendly, 96, of Valley View Dr., West Lafayette, Ohio passed away at Lafayette Pointe Care Center on West Lafayette on Monday February 11, 2019.

Irene was born on October 2, 1922 in Adams Township, Coshocton County to the late Howard Stewart Loveless and Lula May (Young) Loveless.

On April 11, 1942 she married Earl M. Troendly, he preceded her in death on November 21, 1998.

Irene was a graduate of West Lafayette High School, graduated in the class of 1941.  She was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church.  Irene was also a former member of Merry Hustler’s Home Economics Club, Coshocton County Farm Bureau and Homebuilders Council 2E.

She was an employee of the Spitler’s Restaurant and New LK Restaurant of Coshocton.  Irene also worked at Groofold Fabricators in Newcomerstown and the Matchetts Greenhouse near West Lafayette.  She was a homemaker throughout her life, hobbies included gardening, traveling, quilting and other needlework projects.  She enjoyed her precious family and her many dear friends.

Irene is survived by her daughter Nancy Lynn Peterson of Flatrock, NC; three sons Richard Earl (Victoria) Troendly of Pataskala, Robert Wayne (Sue) Troendly of Loveland, CO and Randy Lee (Tracy) Troendly of West Lafayette; eight grandchildren Christie Cupek, Jennifer (Daniel) Pusecker, Tracy Earl (Pamela) Troendly, Deborah (Robert) Turner, Michele Rene (Mike Coria) Troendly, William “Tony” (Renae) Whited, Doyle (Barbara) Whited and Brandy (Jason) Knight; three step grandchildren Ryan Allen (Linda) Thomas, Shawn Michael and Ryan Aron Peterson; thirteen great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Ada Heid; son in law Kenneth Peterson.

Friends may call at the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, 198 E. Church St., Coshocton, on Monday February 18, 2019 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wesley George officiating.  Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the church.
