ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
REPAVING OF SCHOOL PARKING LOT
COSHOCTON COUNTY CAREER CENTER

Sealed bids will be received in accordance with law until 12:00 p.m. on the 9th day of May, 2018, at the offices of the Coshocton County Career Center Board of Education (“the Board”), 23640 Airport Road, Coshocton, OH 43812-9599, for the repaving of the parking lot, driveways, sidewalks, and bull pen areas, located at 23640 Airport Road, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 (“Project”). The bids will be publicly opened and read by the Treasurer. The bids will be tabulated and reported to the Board at its next meeting.

No bid shall be considered unless made on the bid form available at the office of the Treasurer of the Board of Education, 23640 Airport Road, Coshocton, OH 43812-9599, and in accordance with the instructions to bidders, which are available and may be obtained at the office of the Treasurer.

Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the Project, or a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the completion of the Project and furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time the bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and letters of credit shall be payable to the Coshocton County Career Center Board of Education.

The Board intends to accept the lowest responsible bid for the purchase, but reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts of any or all bids, and to waive irregularities which may occur in the bidding.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids.

The attention of bidders is directed to the statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relating to the licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state.
