Robert “Bob” Vesco

Vesco, RobertRobert “Bob” Vesco, 74, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Autumn Health Care Center in Coshocton following a short illness.

Born May 17, 1938 in Tuscarawas, Ohio, Bob was the son of the late Bert and Mary (Enama) Vesco.

A 1956 graduate of Tuscarawas High School, he served as a Specialist 4 in the U. S. Army from September 21, 1961 to September 20, 1963 as a military policeman.

Bob was employed as a Service Station Manager and Representative for Sohio/ BP gas stations before retiring in 1992.

A faithful member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, he served in many capacities including the Methodist Men’s Group.  Bob will be remembered for his love of woodworking, golfing, hunting and fishing.

On August 9, 1959 he married Judy A. Schaefer who survives along with two daughters Debra A. (John) Michel of Alexandria, Ohio, Janet L. (Kevin) Finton of Dresden; eight grandchildren Alexander, Karlee, Ryan, Paul Michel, Michael, Emily, Ryan, Tyler Finton; a step-great-grandson Maddox Finton; several nieces and nephews including special nephews Jack and Jeff Schaefer.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by an infant son Michael Robert Vesco.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Rev. Steve Sullivan officiating.  Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

Military honors will be conducted by the Coshocton County Veterans Council.

Calling hours will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M., Friday, prior to the funeral service.
