Thomas “Tom” E. Alverson

WARSAW – Thomas “Tom” E. Alverson, age 86, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

Tom was born in Coshocton on August 2, 1931 to the late Raymond and Esther (Fallon) Alverson. Tom graduated from Sacred Heart High School. In 1960, he married Helen (Shelton) Alverson. In his free time, tom enjoyed woodworking in his garage. He was also an avid baseball fan.

Tom is survived by his wife, Helene, three children: Kevin (Lisa) and Craig Alverson, and Ellyn (Chris) Smalley; nine grandchildren: Austin, Chris, Ethan, Brittney, Stephanie, Alex, Raychel, Krysten, and Zoe; two brothers, John (Judy) and Dick (Diane) Alverson, and many nieces and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his son, Quinn Alverson.

A gathering honoring his life will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at Tom and Helene’s home located at 25493 State Route 60, Warsaw, OH 43844.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom’s name to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 Township Rd. 164, Coshocton, OH 43812.
