Virginia I. Veatch

veatch004COSHOCTON- Virginia Ilene Veatch, 88, a resident of Coshocton Health & Rehab, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born June 30, 1925 in Coshocton Co. to the late Calvin and Meda (Randles) Dickerson.  She was an “old school” homemaker, mother, and grandmother who loved her family but definitely kept everyone in line.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and attending the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters; Carol Luckeydoo of New Bern, NC, and Debra (Randy) Simon of Newark, eleven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands; George Harold Heck, and F.B. Veatch, a son, Harold Dean Heck, a daughter, Bertha Ann Cosner, a grandson, Pete Cosner, and a great-grandson, Harold Dean Heck III.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating.  Burial will follow in Smith Hill Union Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Sunday.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
