Zoe Ann Worthington

Zoe Ann Worthington, 84, of Conesville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday May 26, 2025, at Windsorwood Place in Coshocton.

Zoe was born on October 24, 1940, in Conesville to the late Leo R. and Kathleen (Glosser) Norris.

She graduated from Conesville High School and went on to the Columbus School of Cosmetology earning her license and worked in several salons.  After Zoe married Ray L. Worthington on her birthday, October 24, 1959, she then opened her own salon in her home in Conesville for many years.

Zoe was an Activity Coordinator, Activity Director, Marketing Director and Admissions Coordinator for Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation.

She was a lifetime member of the Conesville United Methodist Church, enjoyed singing in the choir, participating in Bazaar, Bereavement Committee and Hospitality Committee.  Zoe also spent many years as a Girl Scout leader, supported the United Way, March of Dimes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pink Ladies and was a hospice volunteer.

Zoe was a lifetime resident of Conesville, her and her late husband, Ray, both had received the Conesville Volunteer of the Year award.  She lived a life of service and volunteerism and loved the Conesville Community, mostly the Conesville United Methodist Church.

She will be remembered for her love of her family, sense of humor, baking, and care and compassion for others.

Zoe is survived by her children Eric (Susan) Worthington of Conesville and Amy (Todd) Brown of Coshocton; grandchildren Benjamin Worthington, Katie (Trevor) Rhodes, Marcus (Kathleen Atanasoff) Brown Elgart, and Luke Brown; great grandson Watson Rhodes; special family members Marie, Janie and Henry.

Along with her parents, Zoe was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Worthington; her grandson, Derek Brown Elgart; son-in-law Leonard Elgart.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio on Thursday May 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM to celebrate Zoe’s life.

Burial of Zoe and Ray’s cremated remains will take place together at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to Conesville United Methodist Church and/or F.C.V Fire Department.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
