Cardinal Chorale announces 3 concerts

The Cardinal Chorale announced three concerts that will be presented during its seventh Music Workshop at Muskingum University July 16-23. Admission to each performance is free and open to the public; however, financial contributions are accepted to support the Cardinal Chorale’s ongoing mission to provide a comprehensive musical experience for young singers.
The performances, all held in the Sandra Wolfe Thompson Theater of Caldwell Hall on the Muskingum campus in New Concord, will be presented as follows:
On Sunday, July 17 at 7 p.m., the Cardinal Chorale, 26th edition, will sing an encore performance of songs selected from literature sung on their eight-concert June tour throughout Ohio. The concert titled Let There Be Music will be conducted by Charles R. Snyder and accompanied by Caroline S. Heading.
It features local singers: Hope Asbury, Alexis Caley, Sam Corbett, Olivia Crouso, Dawson Ford, Josie Fornara, Ryan Gildow, Julia Grimmett, Everett Hall, Teigue Hardesty, Jacob Heading, Sarah Heading, Lauren Johnson, Dakota Kealiher, Kennedy Kittell, Anna Richcreek, Kailyn Shalosky, John Stamper, Aidan Stevens-Woolery, Connor Stevens-Woolery, Liam Stevens-Woolery, Sydney Stewart, Sheldon Stotts and Quinn Wherley.
On Tuesday, July 19 at 8 p.m., there will be an evening with Chad Putka, a Cardinal Chorale alumnus, International Barbershop Quartet Competition quarter-finalist and a music educator in Rhode Island.
On Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m., the Cardinal Chorale, 27th edition, will sing their premiere concert, Let There Be Peace, as the finale of the chorale’s eight-day Music Workshop.
