Chase rainbows at the artPARK this summer
Chasing Rainbows is part of A World of Color, this summer’s fun family learning program brought to you by Coshocton Public Library, Clary Gardens, Johnson Humrickhouse Museum, Roscoe Village and the Pomerene. Each Thursday at 10 a.m. May 29 – July 17, families coming to the artPARK, 325 Main St. in Coshocton, will explore color in a new and active way with paints, dyes, fabric, a pony, and lots of other things.
Families will leave each session with something to take home in addition to leaving something behind for the public in the artPARK.
What happens if you chase a rainbow? Look at the world through rose colored glasses or find yourself face to face with a horse of a different color? Join others Thursday mornings in the artPARK to find out. There is no cost, thanks to the John D and Dorothy E Bechtol Fund at the Coshocton Foundation.
Scheduled activities include:
- May 29 – The world through rose colored glasses. You will make your own very stylish glasses.
- June 5 – Green thumb. You will create a small garden sculpture to make your plants happy.
- June 12 – Chasing rainbows. You will play with prisms and chalks.
- June 19 – A horse of a different color. Local groomer Rachel Bice of Daffodil Hill will join the group for this one.
