Constance “Connie” Ide

Constance “Connie” Ide, age 79, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Genesis Hospice Care (Morrison House) in Zanesville, Ohio with family at her side, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at The Free Funeral Home, Coshocton, Ohio with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Burial will take place in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton, Ohio. Friends may call from noon until the start of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Connie was born January 23, 1946, in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Tom Carlan and Betty R. Osbun. On May 25, 1995, she married Mark Ide, and he survives.

Connie worked in the dry cleaning industry at Swan Laundry in Canton. She loved tending to her flowers, picking up every stray animal that ever walked in front of her, and she loved singing gospel and country music. She had her own band and one of the highlights of her music career was when she opened up for Crystal Gayle. Connie was a woman of faith and a firm believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Mark is her sister, Patti Graff of Millersburg, Ohio; two nieces: Rayleigha (Nathan) Bartram of Loudonville, Ohio and Sherry (Joseph) Duncan of Killbuck; three nephews: Dustin (Elizabeth) Phillips of Newcomerstown, Ohio , Stephen Phillips of Coshocton, Dennis Phillips of Zanesville, Ohio;  great nieces and nephews: Bentley and Bailey Bartram, Tyler McCombs and Emily (Hunter) Mobley; and sister in laws Roxana Smith of Akron, Ohio and Linda Hillyer of Zanesville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Christina Cutshall.
