Emily (Fowler) Hunter, 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg.

She was born Nov. 8, 1933 in Marlinton, WV to the late Henry and Sidney Lea (Galford) Fowler. She married Donald Dean Hunter on June 16, 1951, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2010.

She attended Gospel Hill Ministry, loved flowers, gardening, doing her own home canning and cooking, and hunting ginseng with her mom. Most of all she loved and cared for all her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Donald E. (Kathy) Hunter of Nashport; grandson, Steven Hunter of Coshocton; granddaughter, Dawn K. Stewart of Clark; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Ruth Ann Hothem of Warsaw; brothers, Carl (Joy) Fowler of Dundee, and George Fowler of Lathia, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Fowler and Harold Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
