Saundra Lewis
Saundra Lewis, 76, of Coshocton passed away at her home on Sunday, May 11, 2025. She was born in Coshocton, OH on June 14, 1948 to the late Lorenza and Mildred (Moats) Fowler.
Saundra was a member of the Coshocton Church of God. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 53 years. She was the Head Nurse for the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility. Saundra was also a clinical instructor of the LPN program for Mid-East Career Center, constructed and taught the STNA program for Coshocton Healthcare Center, and taught various other STNA programs. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Saundra is survived by her two daughters, Shannon (Darrell Lanham) Powell and Tara (Allen Timmons) Meddings; grandchildren Kayla and Heather Burris and Krista and Katie (Dalton Sims) Meddings; 14 great grandchildren; siblings Kathleen Reece, Nilah (Gary) Douglas, Lenny (Teresa) Fowler, and John (Brenda) Fowler.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lewis, who passed away in 2011; and her dog, Lucky.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Tuesday May 13, 2025 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Saundra will be Wednesday at 11:00am with Al Hlad officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
