Sue Hindel PictureSusan N. Hindel, 56, of Conesville passed away at her home on Friday May 9, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Susan was born in Coshocton on May 16, 1957 to Kenneth and Pauline “Polly” Pepper. She graduated from River View High School in 1975, received a degree in accounting from MATC and her L.P.N license from COTC. Susan was the fiscal officer for Franklin Township and was currently working as a L.P.N for Health Services of Coshocton County, Home Health. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her husband Mike at their place on the river.

She is survived by her husband Michael A. “Mike” Hindel; children Angie Hindel of Coshocton, Britney (Tom) Soles of Conesville, Caleb (Heather) Hindel of Conesville and Draeson (Kendra) Hindel of Coshocton; her mother Pauline “Polly” Pepper of Conesville; grandchildren Kaelie (Larry Vickers) Darr, Cody Darr, Kaitlyn Soles, Austin Hindel, Aleasha Soles, Kaylana Hare, Tradence Hare, Ruger Hindel and Dalton Hindel; two sisters Shelly (Wes) Sarchet of Frazesyburg and Sherry (Mike Cairati) Aronholt of Warsaw; sister in law Diane Locke of Dresden; many beloved nieces and nephews; special friends Andrea Howell, Kelly Brooks, Dave Carter, Laura Cannon, Amber Milhoan, Kelly Queen and Jill Guilliams; and her special canine companion Sisco.

Susan is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Pepper; grandmother Geneva Slaughter; father and mother in law Robert “Bob” and Jean Hindel.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday May 13, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services for Susan will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill Jones and Pastor Joy Blaney officiating. Following funeral services, a cremation will take place and burial of Susan’s cremated remains will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
