Two male adults in custody pending filing of formal charges

COSHOCTON – Two adult males remain in custody pending the filing of formal charges this morning, after two separate drug trafficking investigations yesterday, Oct. 18 led detectives to the Village of West Lafayette and Roscoe Village.

The first male was taken into custody on Fourth Street in West Lafayette as the result of a lengthy investigation.  Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Prescription Pills along with cash and drug related equipment were seized in this arrest and also the subsequent search warrant executed on Cr 6 in Coshocton County.

The second male was taken into custody in a local restaurant, in the area of Roscoe Village, in the city of Coshocton. Seized in this investigation was suspected LSD (Acid) and cash.

On Oct. 18, Kevin M. Rochester, 29 years old and from the Coshocton area who was originally arrested in West Lafayette, was charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Methamphetamine, a Felony of the 2nd degree.  The 2nd male is still being held pending the filing of formal charges.

Assisting the Detectives were West Lafayette Police Department, the Coshocton County Dog Warden and The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
