Baumgarner transported after accident

On May 6, at approximately 7:30 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on US 36, near CR 27, in Bethlehem Township.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Justis Baumgarner, 40, of Nashport, was traveling east on US 36 when he ran off the right edge of the roadway, sideswiped a utility pole, ran under the guard rail, broke a second utility pole, and came to a rest in the adjoining ditch.

Baumgarner was transported to Genesis Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire District, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
