COSHOCTON – Carl D. Lawrence, 76, of Coshocton passed away at Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville on Sunday December 9, 2012.  Carl was born in Amsterdam, Ohio on December 27, 1935 to the late William and Helen (Roof) Lawrence.  He served in the US Army and retired from General Electric after 30 years of service.  Carl was a member of the World Wide Church of God, and a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post 36.  He is survived by his two devoted daughters Roxann (Mike) Burkey of West Lafayette and Sandy (Lonnie Kirk) Weltman of Middletown, OH; six grandchildren Stephanie and Shaina Weekley, Jeremy (Randi) Burkey, Rachel Burkey, Michael S. (Alisha) Burkey and Brandy (Shawn) Barnard; ten great grandchildren and one more on the way; several nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Lawrence and a sister Irene Eberwine.  Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday December 14, 2012 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Funeral services for Carl will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Patrick Boyle officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette where Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society and/or Morrison House Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
