Charles Thomas Picture 2CONESVILLE – Charles “Charlie” Thomas, 68, of Conesville passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016 at The Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Charlie was born in Zanesville on June 14, 1947 to the late Clyde and Elizabeth (Dague) Thomas. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in 1965 and served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service he worked for General Electric for over 35 years before retiring. Charlie was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church; taught Sunday school and was a Deacon of the church for many years. He loved the Lord and was a good faithful Christian. He is survived by his wife, Marleen (Cruxton) Dickerson Thomas, whom he married June 14, 1986; stepchildren Gayle (Tim) Mick of Uhrichsville, Earl Dickerson of Coshocton, and David (Kristi) Dickerson of Coshocton; grandchildren Angie (Dave) Robinson, Benji Dickerson, and Shana Courtney; great grandchildren Codi, Caitlin, Skye, and Wyatt of Uhrichsville Olivia, Tate and Naomi of Canal Winchester, and Zaven, and Xalin of Coshocton; sisters Martha (Clyde) Davis of Columbus and Judy (Tim) Harney of Roseville; nephew Chris Wright; and several other nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Kenny Thomas and sister Virginia Wright. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday February 22, 2016 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00PM with Pastor Dan Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Milfork Cemetery where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors.
