CHS swimmers compete at Dover

Coshocton High School Varsity Swim competed in their season opener at the Dover Invite on Dec. 4. The girls team finished sixth overall, while the boys finished  11th.

Scoring points individually for the girls were Kendal Jackson – 11th, 200 Free (2:39.77); Sophia McFadden – seventh, 50 free (28.45) and sixth 100 Free (1:04.24); Gabriella Wesney – ninth, 100 Free (1:07.68); Autumn Jones – seventh, 100 Back (1:15.36); and Ella Baylor – eighth, 100 Breast. The 200 Medley Relay of Autumn Jones, Ella Baylor, Gabriella Wesney, and Chloe Hall finished seventh (2:15.64) and the 200 Free Relay of Ella Baylor, Cady Jackson, Chloe Hall, and Gabriella Wesney finished eighth (2:05.28). To finish the 400 Free Relay of Kendal Jackson, Sophia McFadden, Ella Duling, and Autumn Jones finished third.

Scoring individual points, the boys are Connor McCabe – eighth, 50 Free (26.03) and Jayden Jones – ninth, 100 Breast (1:24.62). CHS boys placed eighth in the 200 Medley relay of Patrick Shannon, Jayden Jones, Connor McCabe, and Trip Mills (2:31.17) and 11th in the 200 Free Relay (2:03.65).
