Edward ‘Ed’ Greer

greer obitEdward “Ed” Greer, 62, of Coshocton passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, soulmate, and best friend of 40 years, Darlene. He was born on June 22, 1958 to Gypsy Fraelich and the late Gene Greer.

He was a former employee of SanCast until becoming disabled. Ed enjoyed dressing up with the grandkids for Halloween and decorating his home with thousands of lights for Christmas. He liked to refer to his home as “The Griswolds.”

He is survived by his daughter Raychel (Rob) McMasters; sons Draysen (Cara) Wilden, and Dahynin (Nikki) Wilden; his grandchildren Kynsingten and Colin McMasters, Brehanna (Gabe) Plant; Trey and Kaden Wilden; Quenten, Uryjah and Swaezey Wilden; Laetyn and Larsyn Holdsworth. His grandchildren were his world and he LOVED spending time with them. Also surviving is his mother; brothers Tim (Jody) Greer, Jeff Fraelich, Joe (Irma) Fraelich, and Ted Greer; sister Diana Fraelich, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his dad Chet Fraelich, brother Terry Greer, and a grandchild, Loxley Wilden.

Per the families wishes, a private viewing will take place with a cremation to follow.
